About Me

Hi, I’m Makayla! I started M.K Kozy Kreations back in 2020. All things fragranced has always piqued my interest; especially candles! That’s what made me take the leap of faith and jump start my business. I first started with candles. My goal was and is to make candles that are safe enjoyable for everyone. Literally… Adults, kids/babies, dogs, cats and even my pet duck! Yes, I have a pet duck named Talulah. She loves watching me make candles, but birds have very sensitive respiratory systems. So, my candles are and will always be Phthalate Free, Toxin Free and I only will use wicks that don’t create that harmful smoke and soot that can cause lung irritation or headaches. But most importantly I make sure all my candles are made with Love. Each one is personally handmade by me, and I enjoy making each and every one so very much.

Now just like my candles I put just as much care and love into my crochet items too! It all started due to my mom inspiring me to give it a go. Well, turns out I’m a natural at it and everybody loved my cute cuddly Kreations. I started selling them alongside with my candles and so far, what started out as a fun little hobby has blossomed into a huge success. From stuffies, to blankets, to clothing, and more there’s something for all ages. It warms my heart seeing people young to old taking enjoyment in my Kreations.

My goal with my products is to bring comfort, relaxation, and happiness to all who purchase them. I also hope to one day when I’ve gained enough knowledge to be able to fully share my story and experience with starting and running my business to fellow young entrepreneurs. To help guide and inspire them. Because starting this business was and still is nerve wracking and stressful, but it’s also the most fulfilling thing I’ve done. Thank you all who show support and I’ll forever be grateful to the amount of love I receive for my work.
